Discovering Australia
We learned that Australia is both a country and a continent, making it the only country in the world that covers an entire continent. We also discovered where Australia is located and learned some interesting facts about this amazing place.
Aboriginal Art & Culture
We explored the rich culture of the Aboriginal people, Australia's First Peoples. We learned about dot painting, the boomerang, and the didgeridoo, discovering how art, music, and storytelling are an important part of their traditions.
The Great Barrier Reef
We discovered the Great Barrier Reef, the largest coral reef in the world. We learned about its colorful marine life and why it is important to protect this unique natural wonder
Australian Fun Facts
We shared some amazing facts about Australia, like the fact that there are more kangaroos than people, that the seasons are opposite to ours, and that Australia has over 10,000 beaches!
Amazing Australian Animals
We met some of Australia's most famous animals, including the kangaroo, koala, platypus, emu, and wombat. We learned that many of these animals are endemic, which means they naturally live only in Australia.
Australia Quiz Challenge
We ended our Australian adventure with a fun quiz and games, testing everything we learned about Australia's geography, animals, culture, and fascinating facts.
