Welcome to Madagascar     

This week, children will travel to Madagascar through a fun and interactive cultural journey. They will first discover the country by observing pictures and clues, including some of Madagascar’s unique animals, such as lemurs. Through games and group discussions, they will identify the country and learn about its flag, traditions, culture, wildlife, and famous landmarks.

 

 Discover Madagascar’s Endemic Animals

Children discovered some of the unique animals that can be found only in Madagascar. Through interactive learning, they explored biodiversity and learned about the importance of protecting wildlife. 

Create your Own Animal 

Children used their creativity to invent and design their own imaginary animals. They explored their imagination while thinking about the animal’s appearance, characteristics and special abilities.

 
 

 

 

Show & Tell: Present Your Imagination

Each child presented their imaginary animal to the group, explaining its characteristics and story. The activity encouraged public speaking, confidence and communication skills.

Children imagined and illustrated their own adventure in Madagascar. Through drawing and storytelling, they expressed their creativity while exploring the island’s landscapes, animals and culture.

We ended our Australian adventure with a fun quiz and games, testing everything we learned about Australia's geography, animals, culture, and fascinating facts.
